Pokémon Gym Leader Challenge - 11am - 8th June

Got a favourite Pokémon type or fancy yourself something of a Gym Leader? Build a Gym Leader Challenge deck and see if you have what it takes to call yourself a master of your type.

We'll be running a Gym Leader Challenge (GLC) tournament on June 8th of a number of rounds to be determined by attendance. What follows should help you build a deck for the format!

🟢 GLC asks players to build a 60 card deck consisting of a single type and containing no cards with a rulebox (that's no Pokémon V, EX, GX, BREAK, no Radiant Pokémon, no Prism Star trainers and energy, and no ACE SPEC cards). The limitation of a single type extends to Pokémon such as Eevee and Vaporeon or Scyther and Scizor that evolve from each other but have different types.

🟢 In addition, only 1 Pokémon of each species may be included in your deck (you may only have 1 Bulbasaur card, regardless of whether you have multiple from different sets, but you may have 1 Rattata and 1 Alolan Rattata).

🟢 There is also a restriction limiting players to including one Boss's Orders or one Lysandre and between including 1 Professor's Research, 1 Professor Sycamore, or 1 Professor Juniper - so only a single card selection from each list.

🟢 Cards from the 2011 Black & White set and onwards will be allowed and there will be no proxies.
