Description

A horrible crime was committed on the grounds of Warwick Manor, thirty years ago. Now, the mansion is haunted by the ghost of the murdered servant, and it's up to a group of psychic investigators to get to the bottom of the mystery.

Mysterium is a cooperative game of deduction and teamwork for two to seven players. Over the course of the game, one player takes on the role of the ghost and over the course of a few scant hours, tries to lead the psychics to the correct culprit. Every member of the team will receive numerous visions, but what is the ghost trying to tell you exactly? Can the psychics determine the weapon, location and killer, or will a violent criminal pull off the perfect murder?

Great game, easy to get into, fun for all ages/abilities

I've played this with both those who are new to board games, and those with lots of experience, and everyone is able to enjoy themselves, get into the game quickly, and play the game several times with it always being equally or even more enjoyable on repeat plays

Great fun! Not for everyone but that's easily fixed with house rules.

If you love deciphering the way your friends or family think, this is the game for you. Mysterium relies on your ability to predict how the other players think, and adapt as you see the truth unfold. It's not for everyone. My partner and his mother struggled with it but I really enjoyed it. We resolved most issues with a few house rules to suit their play styles. If you are thinking of buying this for yourself, or as a gift, think about who you would play it with. If you've played Dixit or other games from the same creators and enjoyed those, you will definitely love this.
