Heavy punch and fast!

I am a big fan of both Adeptus Titanicus & Legions Imperialis.
So what utility do Dire Wolf Heavy Scout Titans have?
Adeptus Titanicus: I was sold on Legio Audax from the moment ADB first wrote them. A Titan Legion restricted to Scout class Titans only. I have a Warhound Maniple, but it had always lacked the punch to be truely effective. No more! Dire Hounds put serious Engine killing potential out there. Moreover, they can replace Reavers in a Venator Maniple which makes a maniple I rate far more maneuverable and potentially deadly.
Legions Imperialis: You can only take Dire hounds singly in a regular Legions game so using them will depend on your play style. Personally though, I like them. The ardex mega bolters have heavy firepower and strip void shields adequately. All three primary weapons have utility. I like Neutron Lasers due to their hampering effects on War Engines if they hit. Yes, they may not kill it. But its going to take a lot of fire whilst you slow it down and it's return fire will be minimal. Volcano cannons do what they say on the tin, "Engine Kill". Conversion beam dissipator, since starting Legions I am coming to realise any weapon that can damage/destroy structures is vital in a force, winkling Infantry out via close assault can be a nightmare so if the structure isn't needed intact just "Beam" the heck out of it!
