This is a ticket for an event, to receive your kit you must join the event and play one round to get your participation boosters.

Show your school pride before release day! Attend a Prerelease event for a Prerelease Pack and be one of the first to choose your school and uncover the secrets of Strixhaven. These kits include everything you need to play, plus a Prerelease promo card and a college-specific spindown die to track your life count.

What is a Prerelease?

A Prerelease is a special event where everyone builds a deck from a box of new cards provided on the day—no need to bring anything! It's fun, beginner-friendly, and a great way to discover the set alongside other players.

The five colleges are back, each with their own unique look, feel, and magic focus. As you increase your skills, make academic discoveries and work to prove your college is the best, but beware—second-year knowledge comes with a side of increased danger.

This event is capped at 3 rounds with tiered prizing guaranteeing at least one pack per person.

Terms & Conditions

This ticket is subject to the following terms and conditions:

  • Children under the age of 18 years must be accompanied and supervised by an adult aged 18 years or over. Athena Games takes no responsibility for children under the age of 18, responsibility shall remain with the parent or guardian of the relevant child at all times.
  • No smoking or vaping is permitted at Athena Games.
  • No snacks or drinks are to be brought into Athena Games. Athena Games will have food and drink available for purchase.
  • The unauthorised professional use of photographic equipment is prohibited at Athena Games.
  • Event details and timing are subject to change and should be checked prior to travelling.
  • Athena Games reserve the right to conduct security searches to all persons attending the event and their possessions.
  • Athena Games reserves the right to, at their sole discretion, refuse access to, or remove from the venue, without a refund any person who unreasonably refuses to be searched, is considered harmful, undesirable or offensive, or is deemed necessary to remove in the interests of security.
  • Athena Games does not accept responsibility for personal property brought into the venue.
  • Entry to the event is at your own risk. To the extent permitted by law, Athena Games excludes all liability for loss, damage or injury suffered by an attendee howsoever caused.
  • Attendees shall be responsible for and indemnify Athena Games fully for any loss or damage to Athena Games's property caused by the act or default of an attendee.
  • Athena Games may cancel or vary this event (in whole or in part) due to events or circumstances beyond Athena Games's control. Where we cancel this event in its entirety, you will be offered a refund. This does not affect your statutory rights.
  • You have to let us know at least 48 hours before the event is due to occur if you wish to exchange or refund your ticket. After this time, the tickets are non-refundable however can be transferred to another player. This does not affect your statutory rights.
  • If you are no longer able to attent the event and wish to discuss this with us, please us at contact@athenagames.com.
  • Any complaints regarding the event should be made to Athena Games promptly before or during the event. Please raise any issues wth the tournament staff at the event, or otherwise by contacting us at contact@athenagames.com.
