Daemons of Khorne Bloodletters

Having never purchased any of these types of kits I was very diligent in ensuring I had purchased the exact Warhammer Bloodletters for my grandson aged 12. Luckily I had but disappoint soon set in when he went to piece the figures together only to find we needed glue!!!!!!
This is not stated in the description. Another disappointment was the round bases, in the picture they look to be a textured base which you then can paint, sadly they are just a basic flat base. I did figure out after a lot of searching that I had to by buy paint but again it was not obvious in the description, it would have been helpful if it had said paint and glue are not provided which would have saved me hours of searching. and would not have had a disappointed birthday boy wanting to get started putting the figures together. I appreciate the collectors of the Warhammer figures would know all this and are rolling their eyes at me but to a first time buyer it really isn't.
