Happy shopper

Purchased as a gift. Very reasonably priced, sister is mad on Warhammer so she will love it. Well packaged, and great customer service. Loved the email contact after purchase. I will pass on your details to the rest of the family.

Mighty Mini Mechanicum!

I should say I have been playing Warhammer 40,000 since the first edition and the Mechanicum / Adeptus Mechanicus have always been a faction I wanted to play from the get go and now represent my favourite faction.

In terms of this product. As always the quality of the minatures is superb, the detail at 8mm is just amazing. Assembling & painting is a joy. It is worth saying some of the pieces are "twiddle bits" and more care when clipping out is needed to make sure you don't bend / break a few components.

In terms of play playing the Mechanicum in Legions Imperialis it is a thematic, or should that be cinematic, bonanza. Unit descriptions and characteristics described at 28mm Horus Heresy which don't get that much utility at 28mm scale, are suddenly fully and effectively represented at LI scale.

As an example, Thanatar Siege Automata. They are beasts at 28mm scale and I love them both despite them being points sumps and fire power magnets. But their battlefield use at 28mm doesn't really match their unit descriptions. But I am now using them as part of an Ordo-Reductor allied Formation to my SoH main force. They are thematically perfect and downright brutal. So what if your opponent has snapped up those bunkers in front of an objective? Now my Ordo-Reductor tagma can move up and the Thanatar's Cavas & Calix do what their background describes one set uses the plasma mortars to pin the enemy in place and renders those nasty cover saves irrelevant. Whilst the Calix's blow the bunkers apart with Sollex-las fire and once close enough smashs them to rubble with their grav-hammers. Just like the background literature!

Overall, a really good starter box, for an Awesome army!
